Who We Are
Hollowell began its ministry in 1883 as an Anabaptist group of believers influenced by Pietism and the Wesleyan revival and holiness movement. We have a rich heritage of inspiring worship, meaningful community, foreign missions and service to those in need.
In the 130+ years since, there have been new and expanding buildings, several pastors and passing generations, new technologies and forms of outreach. But Hollowell Church continues to pursue its founding mission: to be a community of sincere and committed followers of Jesus.
To be a presence for Christ in Franklin Country, expressed through our community worship and family discipleship ministries, that we might prepare mature holistic followers of Jesus who are equipped to share our faith with others.
Reaching–out to others with the message and with the compassion of Jesus; Teaching–biblical faith and practice to bring each believer to maturity in Christ; Celebrating–the dynamic presence of God through corporate worship
